Overview

We are an award winning and well -established health and wellbeing-based company located in Farnham who are growing rapidly and due to staff movement are recruiting for a PR & Marketing Manager – Consumer to join our on-site marketing team. As an organically grown and family run business of around 20 staff members, team fit is essential.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, as PR & Marketing Manager – Consumer you will be a team player who displays a positive, professional attitude at all times who knows the influencer world and is able to demonstrate excellent relationship management and communication skills.

Working 9am-5.30pm, Mon to Fri based in the Farnham office with regular travel to London to meet with key stakeholders. In return we can offer an excellent salary of up to £50K plus annual bonus (approx. 10%), pension, free parking, 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), on-site personal trainer and use of gym equipment.

The main duties will be:-

Day to day management of external PR agencies & influencers in the UK and Ireland

Maintain and develop existing relationships with key influencers
Identify and source relevant influencers to help grow and develop the brand in the UK & Ireland based on current and future positioning
Research relevant industry experts, competitors, target audience and users
Brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns
Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies and influencers
Responsible for briefing PR and influencers on marketing strategy and priorities and insuring coverage is achieved in relevant titles, publications & on on-line media

Reporting and measurement:

Creating & defining KPIs for key influencers and agency contacts to measure performance on a quarterly basis
Utilising various existing marketing measurement tools e.g. Google analytics to measure impact of PR and influencer activity on company owned assets e.g. and track impact of various activities on new customers, sales and brand awareness metrics. Propose new ways of measuring success where relevant.
Regular monthly tracking of PR and influencer strategy and refining strategy and content plans based on what is/isn’t working.
Provide monthly report to Head of Marketing and the company board on PR and influencer activities including impact on sales and agency KPIs

Budgetary responsibility

Manage and track marketing spend for PR budget & influencer budget in the UK & Ireland

PR Events & consumer shows

Create a yearly plan of proposed events that is aligned with company strategy and positioning in the relevant industry
Project manage events with relevant external agencies and suppliers to insure effective events and meetings
Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure appropriate marketing materials are produced on time and in budget for specific events

Best practise sharing

Alignment with rest of marketing team including managing and setting up planning & update meetings with PR agencies & Influencer contacts with Head of Marketing & other members of the marketing team

To be successful as PR & Marketing Manager – Consumer, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minimum of 3 plus years of relevant experience within a similar role and a proven track record of outreach campaign strategies. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, plus Impeccable verbal and written communication skills are all essential.

This position requires a strong networking aptitude, in depth knowledge of social media marketing industry, a well-organized approach and outstanding project management/time management skills.
