ADP is hiring a Lead Product Manager.

We’re looking for a creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and collaboration to join the ADP team. The right individual will help define the strategic direction, define and manage roadmaps and measurable outcomes for each product they may manage, partnering with the Sr. Director of Product Management of the portfolio, and partnering closely with ADP’s Small Business Services business owners. It will be critical to embrace product innovation, have an eye on a vision and strategy, while defining and managing a product roadmap that aligns and meets the needs of business objectives and goals.

This Lead Product Manager will partner with and lead teams that manages features supporting our simplify and innovate strategic pillars. This role relies on partnering closely across the small business product management and service teams and our partners in the compliance solutions tax-related product management and service teams. These features are highly detailed, require high quality, and are often the key to our customers’ success. Therefore candidates should be confident in their analysis and user experience skills with an added focus on attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute to Product Strategy and help Drive Go To Market:

  • Help define, manage and execute individual product strategies with aligned, multi-year roadmaps. Partner with product leaders in ADP’s Small Business Services business unit and across ADP’s portfolio of products (including the Compliance Solutions team’s tax group), business stakeholders and development teams at ADP.

Product Planning and Prioritization:

  • Take ownership of the product planning process, and evolve the individual product roadmap(s) to align, and manage through the planning year.
  • Drive day-to-day visibility to trade-offs among priorities and manage deliverables accordingly. Make sure all stakeholders are engaged and aware of changes.

Customer Experience and Market Orientation:

  • Define requirements by leveraging usability studies, business and product usage data, external industry trends, and metrics to generate insights.
  • Understand competitors and the market to help identify new partnerships or acquisition targets to broaden or enhance a product portfolio. Partner with the Sr. Director of Product Management to execute due diligence as needed.
  • Partnering with stakeholders define the vision for the end-to-end customer experience journey from sign-up, setup, to use, to grow.
  • Partner with UX teams do test and iterate on the experience as the customers interact with it.

Measurable Outcome Focus:

  • Measure product(s) effectiveness, identify trends, report outcomes and drive priorities to improve
  • Clearly be able to articulate the vision, strategies, priorities and desired outcomes with key partners across ADP

Product Leadership and Impact:

  • Lead multi-function project teams through rapid, data driven iterations focused on customer and stakeholder outcomes
  • Drive impact through all engagements with team members and extended team members – through deliveries and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years experience managing an agile design driven, user-centered product and development team supporting the delivery of a web/mobile based product(s)
  • 5+ years thinking creatively, showing passion and ability to identify and deliver new product innovation.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across functions, with an exposure to complex organizations and the ability to gain shared vision on product decisions and priority trade-offs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues simply and convincingly to help drive fast decisions
  • Patience and commitment, with willingness to navigate complex environments though product knowledge and leadership style.
  • Passion and dedication to delivering great outcomes through an awesome customer experience
  • Experience researching industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and applying to product strategy & roadmap
  • Strong analytical orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify and present clear, concise presentation of findings, and effectively present to any level of the organization. Identify the critical few priorities and keep a cross-functional team focused on them
