General Position Summary Under general supervision serves as a key support role between Business Operations and defined groups of application users and contributes to complex projects both independently and in a team dynamic. Works closely with assigned users to meet their information needs and address their system application issues. Essential FunctionsResponsibilities Recognizes and solves complex problems and opportunities for improvement, consulting as needed with on the more complex issues to develop and execute creativeappropriate solutions accordingly. Works closely with cross functional user communities, peers and management to determine information system needs and develop solutions utilizing or modifying existing system capabilities, or developing new system and process workflow ideas. Articulates and executes various ad-hoc reports using available reporting tools such as DBMS, Cache SQL Reports, and Microsoft Office Tools. Coordinates other business operation resources as needed. Coordinates with end users, internal operation resources and external vendors as needed on breakfix and application upgrade activities. Takes lead on test plans development and unit testing as needed. Participates in documentation development to support on-going maintenance and upkeep of applications. Works with end-users individually or in medium – large sized groups of various disciplines to improve utilization of system capabilities, identify opportunities and developdeploy appropriate solutions. Holds self-accountable for clear understanding and achievement of individual and departmental mission and goals. Supports and suggests updates to practices, policies and operating procedures and ensures alignment to departmental objectives and strategy. Effectively communicates across all levels of the organization (both upward and downward) with the appropriate message, the right tone and the appropriate level of impact. Ability to make the complex seem less complex, is a consensus builder. Ensures teammates, supervisors and customers have the information needed and the context needed to produce favourable results.
