Position Summary

***This role is classified as hybrid and will be filled in either Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI. Additional office locations may be considered***

This position is responsible for consulting on compliance matters regarding areas of federal, state, and municipal employment related regulatory requirements. (e.g., FLSA/Wage Hour; ADA/Disability; FMLA/USERRA/Leave Laws; HIPAA; SOX; GLBA/Privacy Laws; WARN; ERISA, etc.).
Conducts internal and external HR related audits, including wage hour audits, company client audits: accreditation and recertifications, and develops follow-up strategies and plans where necessary.
Monitors the external regulatory environment and ensures applicable legislative changes are effectively triaged to Policy Managers.
Assists with strategies for ongoing compliance with business retention requirements as a government contractor (e.g., special reporting requirements, unique background check requirements).
Researches and assists with the development of HR policies and practices, based on legal and regulatory trends, CVS Health values, best practices, and business strategies.
Aides in the development of HR Policy documents and communications to deliver targeted messaging to impacted business units, key shareholders, and Colleagues.
Prepares and files regulatory reports, fulfills policy redaction requests and monitors annual compliance regulations.
Promotes employment related compliance awareness, education, and training by monitoring compliance with applicable federal, state, and municipal employment related laws and regulations.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Centers of Excellence (COE) partners on delivery of system capabilities to support company tools, policies, and processes.
Responsible for compliance with labor law posters, tracking new locations, closed locations and updates to posters based on federal, state, and municipality employment law changes.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or employment law
Wage and Hour audit compliance experience
Proven written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Qualifications

Strong problem solving, analytical, decision making and project management skills
Strong collaboration with the business, key stakeholders, and partner SMEs/COEs

Education

Bachelors required or equivalent amount of experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
