Is responsible for assessing and improving all aspects of clinical care
efficiency and effectiveness within surgical services as demonstrated by:
acting as a physician advisor to the surgical services leadership team as well
as a physician leader for quality and safety reporting and monitoring and PI
events for surgical services; being responsible for leading the OR committee on
behalf of med staff; addressing physician behavioral issues, providing input to
surgical services strategies and budget initiatives as needed.
Education – Medical Degree (MD or DO)
Experience – 2 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/
abilities in in medical administration, with knowledge of medical business
practices Active member of the medical staff of Hospital
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Board certified in area
of Department s specialty or has equivalent qualifications in compliance wi
the medical staff credentialing process.
