We are currently looking for an Lead Supply Chain Specialist to work remotely with the Boeing team. Qualified candidates will lead and support supply chain transformation efforts utilizing Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) industry framework across the major business units globally. Also scope those efforts to ensure they deliver towards our Quality, Safety, Stability, and Affordability Goals Efforts include but are not limited to: Support the Business Transformation Program to drive Safety, Quality, Stability and Affordability , while Positioning to be more productive and competitive, Prepare for market recovery, Improving performance, and Preserving liquidity Lead cross functional/multi-disciplinary teams through analysis of current state supply chains to identify strategic areas for improvement and drive business requirements for technology implementations Develop business cases around proposed projects and out brief to leadership for prioritization and implementation Determine resource requirements, build project teams, and assist with project management of selected transformational projects Facilitate SCOR training to Boeing employees Build a Global Community of Practice and leverage resources to identify areas to improve and standardize SC approaches For existing supply chains, analyzes current state SC operating models and design future state optimized operating models along the principles of required processes, best practices, required skills, and performance metrics For future green field site supply chains, design optimized operating models along the principles of required processes, best practices, required skills, and performance metrics Support the Business Transformation Program to drive Safety, Quality, Stability and Affordability SCOR – P qualification desired Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status Required Qualifications: Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or higher. 10 or more years of experience in End to End Supply Chain Management. Preferred Qualifications: SCOR – P Qualification preferred. Experience with Value stream mapping. Experience with Change management. Experience with Continuous improvement. Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience, 14 years’ related work experience, etc.). This position will allow candidates to work remotely from any location.
