Full-time Contract Position

About This Opportunity
We re looking for a responsible, motivated individual for the position of I
Services Manager.This position is located in Thunder Bay.

The IT Services Manager is primarily responsible for the Active Directory,
Voice Systems, Branch Equipment, Network Security Fabric, Enterprise backup
system and Office 365. The position is responsible for the day to day operation
of corporate core IT Services as well as the hands-on end user IT support in
our three Thunder Bay locations. The position also provides secondary coverage
to the corporate physical IT Infrastructure, cross coverage for our four
locations west of Thunder Bay and is one of the four core managers that forms
the Information Systems leadership reporting to the SVP Information Systems.

The IT Services Manager s duties include:

* Day to day hands on operational support of Copperfin end users
* Contributing to the strategical and tactical planning of the
corporation s current and emerging IT services needs
* Developing, reviewing and certifying all backup and disaster recovery
procedures and plans for core infrastructure services
* Overseeing ongoing improvements and the feasibility of system
enhancements for infrastructure services
* Evaluating overall operations in information services and recommend
enhancements
* Assisting in the development and establishment of operating policies and
approaches for Information Systems
* Assisting in the preparation of enterprise objectives and budgets
* Identifying emerging information technologies to determine potential
value for Copperfin
* Ensuring the security of information services

What We re Looking For
* Post-secondary business degree or diploma with a focus in computer
science, or related field, with 5-7 years in the profession with
experience in a credit union or other financial service environment
considered an asset
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to
translate technical concepts
* Applied knowledge of systems hardware, Cisco VOIP/SIP systems and
networking, Windows OS/Office 365 environment, security testing and
analytical problem solving
* Advanced level systems analysis and business application with integration
experience
* Experience in budget preparation, monitoring and analysis
* Experience managing and negotiating with vendors and contractors, setting
and managing priorities
* Valid Ontario Class G Driver s License as travel is required
