Yoto’s Marketing & Creative Team
The Yoto Creative team sits within the wider global Marketing team. The small, but mighty, team is made up of a Senior Graphic Designer, Midweight Designer, Junior Graphic Designer, Senior Creative Artworker and Creative Studio Coordinator plus freelance and agency support where required - all overseen by our Creative Services Director.
The team works across all Yoto content designs, packaging, marketing campaigns & collateral, across all regions in both print and digital. You will have a hand in most things you see at Yoto! The Creative team brings our Yoto Originals content to life creating the perfect card art to surprise and delight our passionate audience, as well as ensuring that our licensed partner content is always on brand and showcases the exciting world-class licences that we work with.
What you’ll be doing:
As the Digital Designer, you will create bespoke graphics, assets and templates for CRM and Paid Media as well as imagery across the website, ecommerce partners and on landing pages.
We’re looking for someone who is naturally well-organised and has a passion and vision to create innovative concepts designed to optimise our online content.
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Working across our digital channels you will be confident to deliver projects working from concept to completion, ensuring you adhere to the Yoto brand guidelines and push boundaries creatively.
- You will bring to life our campaign imagery for editorial use, cropping, artworking, creating GIFs and typographic overlays.
- Create graphical assets for a wide range of campaigns across all Yoto markets. Assets will be needed for email, including animated gifs, paid media and web.
- Confident working with a Digital Asset Management system, to maintain all assets in one place in a structured and organised manner.
- Demonstrate confidence to propose new ideas and concepts.
- Work with Paid teams across the network to create digital marketing creatives, such as content for various social media platforms to support their campaigns.
- Work with the Amazon team to keep our digital brand stores refreshed and create assets for new titles which have been added to the library.
What you’ll bring:
- 0-2 years of prior experience in a similar digital design role, ideally within a busy agency environment.
- Thorough working knowledge of Adobe CC (especially Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and After Effects) as well as Figma
- Email design experience
- Motion graphics and video editing experience, primarily for social media
- Ability to create design concepts and layouts
- Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging
- A portfolio which demonstrates design execution across digital formats
- Experience of juggling concurrent projects and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and responding to tasks with an efficient, can-do attitude.
- A creative thinker and problem solver with exceptional attention to detail, excellent typography and layout skills and a good understanding of UI and UX design.
- Organised and proactive, supporting the wider creative studio in meeting deadlines with efficiency, whilst maintaining high standards.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 based on experience.
