We are seeking a People Operations & Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Balmain, NSW. This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for someone with a strong background in HR operations, recruitment, and system administration.

What You Will Do
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Oversee the full internal recruitment process, including preparing position descriptions, posting job ads, shortlisting, interviewing, coordinating medicals, preparing salary proposals, and drafting employment contracts.
- Advise leaders and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, supporting recruitment, systems, onboarding, engagement, diversity and inclusion, training, development, and offboarding.
- Ensure accurate HRIS administration, ensuring data accuracy for new hires, leavers, and internal changes.
- Maintain progress trackers relating to recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Generating reports and analyse data from HR and Payroll systems to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Manage the HR and Recruitment shared inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Serve as the Account Manager for Sonic Health, overseeing related processes.
- Collaborate with People and Culture Business Partners on various HR projects and initiatives.
What You Will Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate:
- Proven experience in HR operations or recruitment, specifically in handling transactional tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources, employee relations or a related discipline are highly regarded.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, especially Workday, is highly regarded for ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and system maintenance.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to develop relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and autonomous, you should demonstrate initiative in your role, confidently making decisions and solving problems as they arise.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential to influence change, negotiate effectively, and articulate ideas clearly to stakeholders.
- Desire and ability to achieve objectives and deliver results with a long-term and strategic focus.
- Ability to collect and analyse data, identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to travel to our operations as required.
