DWF are currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant. Whilst the team are primarily based from our Manchester office, we are open to the successful individual working from any of our England based offices, with options of Hybrid working
Responsibilities
- To review and allocate a high volume of urgent and non-urgent new instructions ensuring they are allocated to the appropriate fee earner and in line with client service level agreements and MI requirements.
- Assisting the Operations Manager/Operations Coordinator with operational tasks and duties including but not exhaustive of analysis of case load reports
- To deal with internal and external client enquiries and to provide support to the operational team and fee earners as and when required.
- and ensuring completion and accuracy of MI.
- To provide excellent client service to internal and external clients and to deal with client queries with assistance from Operations Coordinator.
- Monitoring fluctuations and pattern of instructions and feeding back any issues or general observations to Operations Coordinator/Operations Manager.
- Partake in any other duties that are deemed necessary to support the DWF business as and when required.
- To follow all the Firm's policies and procedures.
- To ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- The ability to use and work from different case management systems, IT software and standard documentation where appropriate
- An ability to read court orders and legal documents to ascertain deadlines and work requirements.
- Prioritise and organise work efficiently and effectively to ensure client service level agreements and deadlines are met;
- Understand the role in the context of the practice group and proactively seek to increase contribution via the allocation of work;
Desirable
- Have to ability to work in a team well or individually
- Excellent communication skills
