The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our Communications Team. Collaborating with the larger marketing team, the Social Media Manager will support the development and delivery of Star’s social media strategy. You will create social content to drive brand differentiation and website traffic. You must be an exceptional collaborator, content creator and platform manager who can deliver authentic social media outputs.
In this key role within Star’s Communications team, you will work directly with the Head of Communications & Campaign, managing social media channels from ideation to execution.
The ideal candidate must have a growth-driven mindset, deep curiosity, and a visual storytelling approach with strong copywriting and mobile video editing skills. While B2B marketing experience is preferred, it is not required. Understanding and curiosity about business are important as you will need to get familiar with industry trends and our offerings to tailor approaches that reach compelling new audiences worldwide.
You will be part of a high-performing, kind and dynamic Communications team, with opportunities to work on internal and external communications projects. Working with senior stakeholders, technical experts and team members across the world will help you develop your skills and career quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage Star's social channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube;
- Create innovative social media marketing campaigns, including video content, brand campaigns, content distribution, and employee branding;
- Lead content creation efforts, including copywriting and mobile video editing across all social channels;
- Curate engaging social content to support marketing campaigns and commercial activities.
- Manage the social content calendar, including asset creation and coordination;
- Work with the Head of Communications to ensure cohesive and impactful social media strategies;
- Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team and service line business leads to drive engagement;
- Provide monthly reporting and social analysis to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content;
- Stay updated with trends and opportunities in the tech sector to optimize social media strategies.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of social media experience working in-house and/or agency, ideally in a global environment and B2B;
- Editorial background– adept at copywriting, content creation, mobile video editing, data analytics and insights;
- Personal interest in technology and passion regarding storytelling, brand building and community engagement;
- Self-motivated and self-starter in simultaneously managing social platforms and real-time decision-making/execution;
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, either in-agency or in-house;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
