Secfix automates security compliance for SMBs in Europe. We help SMBs automate ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, and SOC 2 fast and easy. Our platform integrates with a company’s tech stack (like AWS, Azure AD, Jira, etc.), automatically extracts the data needed for compliance, and creates a checklist to become and remain compliant.
About Our Team
We’re a fun, close-knit team on a mission to automate security and compliance for modern companies and become the European compliance automation leader. Our trajectory is fueled by top investors, including Octopus Ventures, Neosfer (Commerzbank), founders of Signavio and many more angels.
We are a team of 16 (and growing!) with founders passionate about Y Combinator product principles and building a great remote culture. We are solving a real need with a huge $97bn market and the future is very bright.
About the role:
As our People & Talent partner, you'll be instrumental in shaping our remote culture, scaling the team and managing our recruitment and onboarding process. You'll build the foundations of our People experience; improving our ways of working and keeping the team connected (including arranging our annual summit).

Preferred experience & culture:
- Experienced in Startup HR. You bring 2-4 years of hands-on HR and recruiting experience from a dynamic, VC-backed startup/scale-up. You've been pivotal in managing and adapting to rapid growth and change.
- Scaling remote teams. Skilled in recruiting tech talent, you're able to expand remote teams effectively from Seed to Series A+. You understand the tools and techniques that keep a remote team connected and productive.
- Team Energiser. Your energy and enthusiasm are infectious. You know how to rally a team, creating a vibrant and engaging work environment.
- Clear Communicator. You excel in delivering clear and effective communication. Whether it’s through conducting interviews or daily interactions, your messages are always concise and impactful.

Responsibilities:
- You’ll support the founders with day-to-day operations and leading impactful projects from hiring, onboarding to people ops.
- You’ll be Head of Remote. You'll champion our 100% remote culture, drawing inspiration from models like Juro and Gitlab. Your role involves creatively building and maintaining this culture, organising virtual events, monthly team socials, creating a regular appraisal process and planning our annual offsite in exciting locations.
- You’ll help improve our recruitment operations and processes in collaboration with the founders. This includes managing our Applicant Tracking System (Ashby), conducting candidate screenings, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
- You'll oversee all aspects of talent management. From maintaining accurate candidate records, conducting screening interviews to handling broader recruiting responsibilities, you'll ensure a seamless experience for candidates.
- You'll take charge of all our HR processes, from bringing new team members on board to helping with payroll and managing contracts. You'll be the go-to person for making sure everyone settles in smoothly.
- You'll design and implement clear career pathways for our diverse teams and roles. Your focus will be on ensuring every team member understands their potential for professional growth and advancement within Secfix.
- You'll be refining and maintaining our internal documentation on Notion. This includes keeping our employee policies, processes, and handbooks up to date, and effectively communicating any updates to ensure all team members are well-informed and aligned.
- You'll develop and implement a strategy to enhance our employer brand, positioning Secfix as a top destination for talent.
- You'll tackle various people-related projects as they arise, ensuring a dynamic and responsive approach to the evolving needs of our team.

Interview Process:
- 30 min - Cultural interview
- Take-home Assessment
- 1.5hr Assessment review and interview with our Founders.
- 1.5h - Final "Virtual On-Site Interview" with a few members of the team in Gather, our virtual office

Compensation Range: £45K - £60K
