The Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) Recruiter works closely with GB&M leaders and hiring managers to deliver excellence throughout the recruitment and on-boarding process. While focused on GB&M, the incumbent will drive stakeholder engagement to source, screen, and present candidates for lateral roles that will expand across our lines of business within the US. The role reports to the GB&M Senior Recruiter Manager.
As our Recruiter you will:
- Execute the recruitment plan developed to support the overall business strategy
- Drive the operational elements via recruitment and service delivery teams to onboard new hires on time and on budget
- Maximize candidate and hiring manager satisfaction through excellent delivery that is aligned to HSBC purpose, values and strategy
- Manage stakeholder relationships and related communication
- Ensure all activities are compliant with applicable with regulatory, audit and legislative requirements
- Partners closely with senior recruiters and hiring leaders to deeply understand the requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
- Builds out detailed talent sourcing materials including search strategies, mapping markets, industry trends and insights, and pipelines of target profiles and companies
- Strategizes different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation and sourcing campaigns
- Identifies, engages and activates passive candidates through the use of LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
- Screens resumes and interviews candidates to determine basic qualifications
- Partners with senior recruiters to coordinator and manage an efficient search process
- Regularly tracks search pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
- Recommends and drives improvements that positively impact the recruiting process, candidates, and internal stakeholders
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $82,600 and $123,900.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- At least 3 years of experience providing excellent recruitment services specifically to Global Banking and Markets clients
- A proven knowledge of all elements of GB&M structure and strategy and a track record of excellence as a trusted advisor to GB&M leadership and managers - including knowledge of external market conditions and talent trends
- Demonstrated ability to successfully operate in a large and matrixed global financial services organization
- Engages in proactive sourcing/pipelining/networking and successful identification of top talent for current and future open roles, while building a proactive talent pool
- Actively stays current on changes or trends in the labor market, compensation, talent pools, titles, skills, competitors, etc
