Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will assist our client's HR Generalist team in daily activities and administration duties. A successful candidate will have a bias for action, ability to succeed in a fast-paced and results oriented environment and deliver valuable partnership to the HR team. The HR Coordinator will provide day-to-day administration support to the HR team, front-line managers, and employees in the areas of employee relations, policy interpretation, direct labor recruitment and on-boarding. They will also manage any administrative or project related work as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact support for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations issues and resolutions.
- Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all HR-related activities.
- Coordinate the on-boarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and assisting with the setup of employee accounts.
- Serve as a resource for new employees, answering questions and providing support during the on-boarding process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into their roles.
- Assist in the recruitment process for direct labor positions, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience and an understanding of HR policies, recruiting, on-boarding procedures, employee relations, and working knowledge of state and federal employment law, required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
