As a Fullstack Engineer on the Digital Sales team you will be working with our web quoting experience and have direct impact on Hagerty’s revenue. In this role you can expect to partner with other engineers to implement new features, maintain existing applications, and share knowledge with your fellow teammates. You will be working with a mix of technologies like Javascript frameworks and .Net.

What You’ll Do:
- Craft code that applies industry best practices with internal standards to solve real user problems
- Build in quality as part of your process through unit, integration and end-to-end testing
- Provide collaborative feedback to your fellow engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Identify areas of improvement within the application, test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to increase efficiency and scalability
- Assist with triage, resolution and root cause analysis of production issues should they arise
- Create and/or update documentation as you craft new features and functionality
- Research upcoming engineering trends and apply sound judgement to make recommendations for the future direction of our applications

This might describe you:
- Experience working with a highly available enterprise grade web application
- Proven experience in the .NET ecosystem including C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs
- Proven experience applying web technologies like Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, NextJs and HTML/CSS
- Strong SQL knowledge. Ability to create complex SQL queries and deep understanding of tables relationship
- Experience building and implementing Restful services
- Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure)
- Understanding of the full HTTP request lifecycle and able to diagnose performance issues
- Object-oriented design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and application design to promote code reuse, maintenance, and extensibility
- Comfortable with development tooling including the use of browser-based dev tools
- Experience with creating Unit and Integration tests
- Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
- Possess attention to detail, an eye for design and genuine care about the user experience
- Able to implement accessibility guidelines
- Comfortable working in a remote environment, collaborating via Zoom, Slack, etc.
- You are curious, passionate, and proactive about your everyday work
- You are social and collaborative, as this is not a standalone job, and will require communication skills, especially working within a remote team

Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
