We’re on the lookout for a Head of Talent to join our People & Culture leadership team. It is a hybrid role and can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. The role reports to the Chief People Officer.
Talent is a strategic imperative for Findex. This newly created position will lead the development and effective execution of our talent strategy, ensuring we have a strong and differentiated EVP. The Head of Talent will play a key role in shaping our talent management framework and our ability to attract, source, hire, grow and retain quality talent, consistent with our workforce plan.
What will your typical week look like?
- Work with the P&C leadership team and key business stakeholders collaboratively to develop, communicate and implement the total talent strategy.
- Continue to evolve the Findex EVP to ensure it is fit for purpose across key talent cohorts.
- Lead and optimise the talent acquisition function managing key metrics aligned to company goals.
- Work closely with executives to deliver high quality senior strategic hires aligned to business and revenue plans.
- Lead and continue to enhance internal talent mobility, talent assessment, development and succession pipelines to deliver on our strategy.
- Lead team and support goal clarity along with meaningful work opportunities by providing ongoing quality feedback and coaching.
- Manage and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality delivery, value for money and agreed ROI.
- Complete regular reporting including Narrative & Board reports whilst being accountable for contributing to the weekly, monthly and quarterly P&C reporting cycle.

You are someone with…..
- A strategic mindset, previous talent strategy, assessment (potential and performance), management and internal talent mobility experience
- Strong client focus, familiar with innovative and effective talent acquisition models
- Experience in building effective teams and managing a team of talent acquisition professionals to deliver service excellence.
- Talent acquisition process re-engineering/ journey mapping experience to provide continuous improvement and more effective service delivery.
- Previous experience integrating technology and digital into service delivery.
- Experience in establishing metrics that matter and tracking to targets and service levels.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicant tracking systems and talent data
- Experience in formal assessment for selection and development
- Exposure, knowledge and understanding of complex visa management.
