E-Commerce Intern
(6 months FTC, Full-Time)
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
The Ecommerce Intern will assist the Head of Ecommerce and the Ecommerce Omnichannel Manager in building the department through the execution of existing ecommerce projects and the identification and development of new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
THIRD PARTY ECOMMERCE PARTNERS
- Main responsibility to manage product launches for third parties using a critical path. Continuous management of the critical path to ensure all information is up-to-date is essential
- Work with the third party Partners to push new launches to maximise conversion
- Continually assessing Partners representation of product information to enhance the client purchase journey
- Maintain and develop the product listings with third party Ecommerce Partners always seeking to identify opportunities to improve the onsite offer and conversion
- Maintain standards of merchandising online
- Identify opportunities to support the offer within third party websites by forming close relationships with our partners
- Work with the in house digital marketing department to maximise on these opportunities
- Research competitors and highlight areas for improvement
- Run stock files for third-parties to ensure the online offering is accurately managed
CARTIER.COM
- Support the Head of Ecommerce and the Ecommerce Omnichannel Manager in the continued localisation of Cartier.com
- Support the Head of Ecommerce and the Ecommerce Omnichannel Manager in user testing of technical developments for Cartier.com
- Support the Ecommerce Omnichannel Manager in the delivery of approved pilot programmes and assist in the development of opportunities of potential to pilot
- Support the Ecommerce Omnichannel Manager in the management of stock transfer’s between the returns hub and the central warehouse
BUSINESS ANALYSIS
- Daily and weekly reporting on eCommerce trade performance from various data sources. Reporting to include KPIs, engagement and shopping behaviour trends.
- Conducting Ad-hoc reporting to challenge performance and identify business needs
- Keep abreast of competitor activity and media coverage to shape and take onsite actions and activity for all UK ecommerce networks
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Intuitive knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment
- Creative thinking to assist with problem-solving
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse data and propose commercial objectives
- Have fantastic communication skills and can positively work and communicate across teams
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel including the ability to manage large amounts of data. Existing knowledge of excel formulas and Pivot Tables is a plus
- Experience using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tool is a plus
- Self-motivated with proven ability to work well both autonomously and within a team
