Description
We are looking for a Digital Designer to craft visually compelling digital experiences that enhance user engagement and brand reputation. This role requires a passion for using creative skills to develop marketing materials across different market-leading products that are user centric and functional. You will collaborate closely with the Design team while enjoying the autonomy to approach projects in a unique style and exercise creative freedom within our brand frameworks.

Outcomes
Marketing collaterals are engaging and tailored to their target audience
- Support B2B, B2C events, conferences and flagship awards to create cutting edge brand experiences across all channels.
- Maintain and innovate company decks to ensure high quality designs and consistency across all relevant GTI brands.
- Bring a fresh and innovative approach to design challenges whilst participating in workshop and brainstorming sessions
- Your designs should take a user centered design approach
Increased engagement and brand awareness through social campaigns
- Create a strong understanding for multiple audiences (especially GenZ)
- Ensure we have visual consistency across all communication channels and audiences
- Work with content team to ensure highly engaging social campaigns
An up-to-date suite of high-quality presentation decks, social assets and sales templates
- Work with Design team to create a varied bank of design assets
- Maintain and create new presentation decks using Canva and/or Figma
- Constantly evolve the social landscape for an optimum user experience
Continued learning and development and progression for you and GTI
- Shadow and learn from the Design team to reach new levels of creativity and technical proficiency
- Stay up to date with the latest design tools, patterns, movements and keep a close eye on AI
- Learn and contribute to design workshops presenting your concepts
- Approach your quarterly reviews and personal development plans (PDPs) with curiosity and an open mind, actively seeking opportunities for growth and improvement
Designs are within the brand guides but elevated through creative thinking
- Create early concepts and test your thinking with the Design team for feedback
- Embrace courage and creativity to develop strong concepts and visuals that leave a lasting impression
- Constantly enhance and evolve the brand architecture across all digital products and services
Support in creating new 'digital product' brands
- Work with the Design team to create new digital product brands from concept to completion

Person Specification
- Strong and inspiring portfolio showcasing your creative design work across multiple mediums
- Comfortable taking and interpreting a brief, and able to follow creative direction while pushing boundaries
- A love for design and a commitment to continuous learning and growth
- Showcase strategic thinking across all aspects of your design output
- Good communication skills to be able to collaborate with the Design team
- Confident having autonomy to approach projects in a unique style and exercise creative freedom
- Embrace feedback from your team and learn from your mistakes to continuously improve your skills and output
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, colour theory and composition
- Comfortable using reusable assets to streamline the design process
- Confident using Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop (After Effects is a bonus)
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and presentations
Desired
- Experience creating brands
- An understanding of animation and motion
- Knowledge on how to use digital asset management for optimum efficiency
- Adapting to utilise new tools, including AI, to enhance your workflow processes
- Experience in print design
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Other Information
- 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm
- 3-month probationary period
