Job Description
Infina is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help assist the FAA's Technical Onboarding Program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes business objectives and develops solutions to solve business issues
- Develops logical data models, analyzes, and defines processes of business both “To Be” and “As Is.”
- Identifies, analyzes, and documents business requirements and delivers work products throughout the project life cycle
- Uses process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and internet-related methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects
- Supports activity and data modeling, development of modern business methods, identification of best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements
- Perform analysis of work processes to support corrective actions relative to improved performance
- Assist in the development and implementation of interview processes for ATCS and technical personnel and participate in the coordination of execution of those processes
- Provide analysis of programs and project documentation, when required or directed by the FAA Program Manager, to assess progress towards goals and objectives.
- Maintain the FAA’s tracking databases to ensure applicant and employment status are always known
- Assist in the preparation of guidance materials for field managers, support staff,service center personnel, etc., on the implementation of new bargaining agreements, new or revised personnel policies, and organizational changes in ATO program implementation
- Assist in the development and implementation of public sector hiring initiatives to build and maintain viable applicant pools, based on hiring needs as specified by the FAA.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor's degree in either accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management or related field
- Must have at least eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Previous experience or knowledge of FAA systems and policies is highly desired
- Ability to analyze and document business processes and requirements and to effectively communicate concepts and proposed solution
- Must be a US citizen or green card holder
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
