Dock Products Canada is seeking a General Manager to join Dock Products Canada Inc. in our Mississauga Office.
In addition, this position is responsible for the financial and operational performance, business planning, implementation of key initiatives, the development/growth of the business and its profitability. Ensures compliance with the parent organization, corporate operating policies, and legal requirements. Direct and participate in planning processes for the development and growth of people. Provide direction and leadership in development and communication of operating policies and processes. Ensure for continuous improvement of the integrated principles of service, quality and price.
Responsible implementing and championing corporate/global policies and procedures encompassing the organizations accounting, sales, human resources, information systems functions as well as any other administrative services.
Responsible for developing corporate budgetary and strategic plans, measuring overall performance of each function/operation.
Executes implementation of corporate objectives/initiatives (i.e Safety, Quality, Market Pricing, Human Resources, etc.)
Build effective customer relationships and appropriate metrics of performance and satisfaction
Manage Corporate Compliance, proper business practices and code of conduct. Ensures operations conform to local, state and federal regulations.
Handles/manages local litigation issues.
Manages labor relations with unions.
Establishes and maintains positive public relations to promote a reputation of quality for Dock Products
Evidence of strategic thinking and planning with solid managerial leadership experience.
