Shared Health (1502-155 Carlton Street, Winnipeg MB, R3C 5R9), and The University of Manitoba, Department of Internal Medicine (business addresses noted below), are inviting applications for a permanent, full-time physician in the Section of Allergy and Clinical Immunology to fill our labour shortage in Manitoba. Main job duties include diagnose and treatment of diseases, prescribing medications and treatment, ordering lab tests and x-rays and other diagnostic procedures, consulting with other physicians as required, which job duties encompass 30% of the position.
The successful candidate would also be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, and appointed as a geographical full-time member of the Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba, which job duties encompasses 70% of the position. Job duties are required in English.
The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Benefits, available from the University of Manitoba, include pension, life insurance, disability, dental coverage, supplementary health coverage and a healthcare spending account.
