Ocean Import/Export Coordinator
Location:
Montreal
We are looking for a motivated Ocean Import/Export Coordinator with at least 2 years of experience in project cargo or ocean freight import/export. This role involves managing non-standard shipments (ocean, truck, rail), providing quality service to clients, and handling operations from quoting to invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inquiries for standard and non-standard cargo (FCL, LCL, BB, RORO)
- Issue and follow up on quotes
- Handle export/import operations for each project from A to Z
- Approve vendor invoices and ensure timely invoicing for completed projects
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and clients
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding (with project cargo knowledge)
- Knowledge of ocean freight import/export rules and regulations
- Bilingual in French and English (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office and logistics software (CargoWise an asset)
- CIFFA & DGR Certification (preferred)
- Experience with oversized cargo
Salary:
CAD 55,000 – CAD 65,000
