St. Paul’s Foundation is seeking an Annual Giving Coordinator to be an integral part of an established, respected non-profit on the cusp of opening an incredible new hospital, research complex, and health campus.
Reporting to the Manager of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Coordinator is responsible for sustaining and growing the Annual Giving Program in support of Providence Health Care’s residences, facilities and acute care sites including St. Paul’s Hospital and St. Paul’s Foundation. This role is accountable for assisting the Annual Giving team with the effective execution of a range of annual programs including direct mail, email, tribute giving and donor programs.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Annual Giving team to provide support and develop growth opportunities for our key fundraising programs including direct mail, email, tribute giving, mid-level giving, and all annual initiatives.
Support the growth and execution of the Tribute (in Honour and in Memory) program by assisting donors, family members, and honourees; managing tribute correspondence and thank you calls, maintaining accurate records in Raiser’s Edge, creating, and updating online tribute pages; and promoting tribute giving through digital marketing and coordination of materials at PHC hospitals and sites.
Support the Annual Giving team by maintaining the systems required for the effective and efficient operation of the Annual Giving program, including updating revenue, expense and appeal results trackers, and scheduled report pulling.
Assist with management of Annual Giving e-commerce program, including promotion of sale items, management of e-commerce pages, and tracking of inventory.
Assist with building and implementation of Annual Giving email solicitations through Mailchimp.
Provide donor support by managing donor inquiries and the general public as required.
Assist with any additional fundraising activities within the Annual Giving portfolio as required and undertake special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in fundraising or a closely related field
Demonstrated professionalism, sensitivity, and diplomacy in all interactions with donors, the Foundation team, and the wider community.
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative team player, able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
A high degree of initiative and attention to detail as it relates to complex projects and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Word and Excel, including familiarity with formulas and spreadsheet functions.
Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar fundraising software.
Experience with Mailchimp or similar email deployment platform.
