We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Engineer with expertise in electrodialysis and electrochemistry to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development and optimization of lab-scale and pilot-scale systems, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in sustainable recycling technologies. Your work will directly support the transition to a circular economy by enhancing resource recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Setup and Operation:
Design, set up, and operate lab and pilot-scale electrodialysis and electrochemical systems to support process development and optimization. - Process Development:
Develop innovative solutions for improving system efficiency and scalability. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement them effectively. - Data Analysis:
Monitor and evaluate system performance by collecting and analyzing experimental data. Use insights to refine operating parameters and improve process outcomes. - Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee maintenance and calibration of lab and pilot-scale equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation. - Documentation:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results. Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings. - Safety Compliance:
Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and best practices, maintaining a safe laboratory and pilot-scale environment. - Team Collaboration:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including chemists, engineers, and project managers, to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrochemistry, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
- Proven experience in electrodialysis, electrochemical processes, or similar systems, preferably in an industrial or research setting.
- Hands-on experience with setting up, operating, and troubleshooting lab or pilot-scale systems.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.G., MATLAB, Python, or equivalent software).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with recycling or resource recovery processes is highly desirable.
