At Vendara, we are building the next big thing in FinTech, and we are looking for a Billing & Payments Operations Specialist to join our team. The right candidate will work closely with merchants, banks, payment processors, agency partners, and senior management to ensure accurate and timely payment of sales commissions, as well as to streamline existing processes and provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Own the sales commission payment process for both external agents and internal sales team.
Drive continuous operational improvement by automating manual processes and identifying opportunities for product enhancements.
Streamline existing processes and provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with merchants, banks, payment processors, agency partners, and senior management to ensure accurate and timely payment of sales commissions.
Work closely with sales, customer support, and product teams to enhance transparency regarding residual calculations and payments to external partners.
Serve as the subject matter expert for any inquiries related to residual calculations, pricing, and fee schedules.
Support the head of Finance with business case analysis and monthly reporting.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in billing/payment operations. Experience working with a FinTech and/or payment processing company is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable insights.
.Ability to present information effectively to different audiences, including external partners and senior management.
Comfortable analyzing technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Experience with Power BI, Access, and SQL a plus.

Salary Range

$70,000.00 – 75,000.00
